We finally stopped by this place for lunch after passing it for years. The BBQ is great! The atmosphere could use some major work and having actual servers would class up the place. Overall though its the food that matters and the food was great!

Like this place. Free water. Wish they had real lemons instead on reconstituted lemon juice in small packets. Veggies good, BBQ good. Tax included in price.

The Chicken and bbq are great. Very nice young lady at the counter and very helpful. Sweet potato casserole is wonderful. Great place to eat.

Best BBQ in Guthrie and around the entire Montgomery County. My favorite order is the three meat plate with a pancake-shaped cornbread and BBQ beans. The owner is the nicest and very customer friendly. Recently expanded dining area (about 2014?) will seat a bus load or an average road construction crew. Prices are still low for the great tasting food and service, but don't tell the owner that...but I'll still have to buy his food like a junky would.

The pork belly isn't always on the menu, but if you get lucky enough to be there when they have it do yourself a favor and try it. You'll fall in love.

Great service with outstanding food it will have you hooked. The plates or running over with the size of portions you receive.

Turnip greens were a little too oily and too much of the stems but brisket was flavorful pork was too cornbread pancake was good nice crust too

I love the pork rib with potatoes

Good food for the price. Being from Louisiana I’m not use to flat cornbread. We got (2) 2 meat plates with 2 sides. The ribs , sausage and brisket were very good. The baked beans had a good flavor. The potato salad was ok. I like the fact that it is small place. Nothing fancy. Atmosphere has a country feel. People are very nice. If you are passing by I suggest stopping in to try the food.

Omg, they got the best food here. My wife and I try to visit this place every other week. Small little barbecue restaurant, BIG TASTE. It's a homey little place, simple menu and really good prices. I absolutely love their cornbread. They take cash or card and they serve pretty quick and with a smile. Good service, great food, what more do I need to say. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

Decent BBQ. Slaw and baked beans were good. Cornbread had no taste to it...unless it's slightly burned taste counts. Friendly service. $11 for pork plate and two drinks.

No complaints other than it being hot in there

Food wasn't bad but service was very slow for being no busier than it was. I got two different kinds of sandwiches but they weren't labeled so we had to guess which was which. This was important to us as one sandwich was pork and my companion doesn't eat pork.

Excellent food! We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back. I would also add that the restaurant was very clean! That's something that I appreciate along with great food.

I went here yesterday and pre-ordered the sausage plate. We took about 5 minutes to get there. My food was cold. I was very upset because this is the 2nd time this has happened. I was on my way out of town and stop anywhere else. Very disappointed. It's been better before but if this happens again, I'll never return

As usual our lunch at Red Top was terrific. I had a burger, delicious., hubby had ribs...mmmm..mmm good on the ribs !! Service is always great, friendly and fast. Will go again and again.

Used to be the spot to eat at ....the last few times I have went there it was pretty bad today I got half done chicken the fried corn bread was not done in the middle and my husband paid for ribs and received 2 little pieces of rib and a half done pice of corn bread ..... so sad I loved the drive down to eat here but I guess I will have to find another place ... I just can’t keep paying for half cooked food .

I've had some wonderful BBQ all over the US and don't hesitate to say that this is among some of the best I've had. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and their 2 vinegar based sauces were wonderful. Definitely hitting this place up more often.

I got one pork and one beef BBQ sandwich. They weren't marked so had to guess which was which. This is a problem for those who don't eat pork. The wait was long and it wasn't even lunch time. But it tasted okay, I wouldn't drive the twenty five miles for it from my house. I just happened to be in the area.

Nice home town restaurant. The people are warm and friendly. And the barbecue ribs were delicious!

Outstanding homemade BBQ! Sketchy on the bread rolls but wow great meat. I'll definitely be back! Think a buddy will use for hail and farewell too.

Great taste. Somewhat of a wait for lunch food. Brisket taste good, not as juicy as I preferred. But the sauce completed the Sandwich.

Really good food! We came for dinner on a Friday, and they only had pork available. But, we came hungry and left full and satisfied. Mac and cheese was delicious, and I've never had corn bread like theirs, but it was oddly very tasty! They served a big portion of pork too (hidden under the big corn bread and I already ate some before picture was taken), and it was great. Can't wait to try their other BBQ meats!

Delicious! We just moved here and are always on the lookout for independent restaurants. So happy we stopped here. We had the pulled chicken plate and it was tender and a very large amount. The prices are very reasonable, too!

Great place for great BBQ. We stopped in today for the First time and it was Fantastic. We will definitely be back real soon.

I went in to get some fries for my mom. Ended up getting the beef brisket sandwich with fries but didn't get to eat it. Son ate the sandwich and said it was okay. I tasted the fries and those were good. Crispy with a soft center and just the right seasoning.
